Students from the City Terrace Public Library filmed and edited this short documentary about the murals that decorate their East Los Angeles neighborhood. They interviewed muralist Willie Herron, III, Los Angeles Mural Conservancy Director, Isabel Rojas-Williams and City Terrace residents to learn more about the art and the history of their community.

The 4th grade class at Langdon Avenue Elementary School create short documentaries to learn about California's Missions as part of our Curriculum Project program!

La buena Muerte

"La Buena Muerte," tells the story of a mother and daughter's art installation ‘Ofrenda' (altar), at Hollywood Forever Cemetery for the Dia De Los Muertos Festival. They invite us to meditate on the meaning of mortality by posing the question: "What is a bad death, good death, and a great death?”
